Lighten Up #2: Logan Wolfram

Download Podcast

Welcome to Lighten Up! This is episode #2, and you can either listen here or subscribe on iTunes to have each new podcast delivered right to your phone.

If you’re like “Whoa, she has a podcast; this is so unexpected,” you can catch up with the first episode over yonder. This here is my second episode, the big number two. Logan Wolfram will henceforth and forevermore be my number two. And actually, I had to strain quite a bit to produce this number two, due to newbie technical difficulties and also probably a lack of fiber.

Okay I’m done. (Poop jokes, yay!)

Let’s see…in this episode, I talk with Logan, author of Curious Faith and head of Allume Conference, about how we can bring light to our communities, and also chopping off her hair and going gluten free, origami, launching her first book, and husbands buying maxipads. Also, I made a confession about my one-star reviews on Amazon and now I’m feeling all convicted and stuff and will probably have to be an adult and read them now. Hold me, Jesus.

So you don’t have to hunt around for anything, here’s everything you need to click on or look at that we talked about on the show:

Logan blogs at www.LoganWolfram.com, and you can find her on Instagram here and you can buy her book, Curious Faith, here.

Here’s the important political meme she mentions:

pinestraw

Here’s something that important to our conversation about movies:

Here are the books we talk about:

Doing Good Is Simple by Chris Marlow

Looking for Lovely by Annie F. Downs

Wild and Free by Jess Connelly and Hayley Morgan

Why Not Me? by Mindy Kaling

Having a Martha Home the Mary Way by Sarah Mae

Also, Logan’s recently gone gluten-free, which is not stopping her awesome cooking skills in the least. She just posted a GF strawberry shortcake recipe here so check that out if you’re a cooker person.

Okay, that should do it. Everybody lighten the heck up.

Sloppy kisses,

Melanie
