When I started blogging, I used my spot on the internet to update friends and family about our adoption journey and to find sponsors for my kiddos in Uganda. I posted once or twice a month, while my one child napped, and that was about the it.
I didn’t know I’d fall in love with blogging. These days, I post several times a week, manage a much larger site, and find myself falling more and more into the “work-from-home” category. I love my unexpected life and those of you who stop by for a visit.
To compensate a bit for my new job of fuller-time blogger, I sometimes incorporate affiliate links into posts and on the sidebar. If you click on these and buy the product, I’ll earn a little money.
From time to time I also review a product, book, or movie. Sometimes I receive these things for free, in exchange for a review. My reviews are always my own opinion.
I’m not an expert on anything. I’m just a wife and mom and volunteer orphan advocate. Everything I say on this blog is my opinion. Just because I love a product and it works for me doesn’t mean it’ll work for you.
I want you to know how much I value you. Thanks for reading, for clicking, and for your unique part in this blog community. I am humbled and grateful for your presence here, and I will always seek to be honest with you, 100% Melanie, 100% of the time.
